24.08.2015, Another successful Summer Children Camp was held in Pestalozzi Children's Village in Trogen, Switzerland from 29.07.2015 until 12.08 2015. 160 children from Macedonia, Serbia, Ukraine and Moldova were part of this summer camp, including 40 children aged 16-17 from Macedonia led by NGOs such as Center for education and Development-CED as coordinator of the camp, SPPMD Kavadarci, MAJKA - Kumanovo, Coalition of Youth Organizations SEGA and children from the region of Strumica with their supervisors.
Within fifteen days camp participants had 10 working days in which were involved in the workshops that were held in the school in the village.
19.06.2015, Under the People to People component, from 9-11 June 2015, organized by TACSO Macedonia the president of CED, Mr. Metin Muaremi participated on a study visit on Fundamental freedoms and anti-discrimination to EU Institutions and CSOs based in Brussels together with 11 Macedonian CSOs active in the area of fundamental freedoms and anti-discrimination. Participants met representatives of relevant institutions and organizations including DG NEAR, DG JUST, Council of Europe, OHCHR, European Court of Human Rights, European Network of Equality Bodies etc.
21.03.2015, For the eight time in a row, Center for Education and Development-CED with the support of Municipality of Tearce, ECO FLOR and the German volunteers in Macedonia was celebrating the day of ecology with a local action in municipality of Tearce.
The activity was organized by local and international volunteers, around 20 students between 10 and 12 years from the primary school were collecting garbage and building sculptures. We started with great spring weather behind the old school in Tearce, and the activity was open for all the citizens.
09.07.2015, Center for education and development – CED in cooperation with JEF Organization and in partnership with ZIP Institute, YMCA – Tetovo, Student organization IZLEZ and Macedonian center for transatlantic integration, in the frame of project “Councilors discus, citizens read” – How to have bigger transparency in Municipal Councils”, organized Round Table with the representative of Council of Municipality of Tetovo and representatives of civil organizations. The aim of the project is to increase the transparency and the access to information with public character in local level, as a pre conditional of effective engagement of citizens and to influence in decision making process of Municipal Councils and also to promote and facilitate the access to information with public character.
Wednesday 22nd of April 2015 within the Day of Planet of Earth, beginning at 16:00 in the hall of primary school "Kiril Pejcinovic" in Tearce, will open the exhibition "Wild Plants of my country". This is an original exhibition that travels with drawings and photographs from children herbarium volunteers (elementary school children, climbers, wild plant collector, entuzijast etc.) all united in the project: "Relevance of people with nature - strengthening networks civil society in Macedonia ". The project was developed by the Macedonian Ecological Society and Plantlife UK and is financed by the EU.
On 12th of February 2015, Metin Muaremi, President of the organization Centre for Education and Development - CED, participates and presents the views of the organization and its experience on the topic "What freedom of speech mean to you".
Within the event was attended by journalists, activists, volunteers from various organizations that are working on national and local level.
This event was organized by Alliance Française Tetovo, in cooperation with several Non Governmental Organizations from Tetovo and the region.
