One of the biggest activities that CEDT had was the activity with ecological importance in this region. In the same time this activity we did in cooperation with also three other NGO’s, Center for Balkan Cooperation”Loja”-Tetovo, Contemprary Art Centre-Skopje, and the local NGO “Hizmet”-Tearce.
This activity was supported by Pro Credit Bank, Tetovo Branch and the Municipality of Tearce.
The main activity was cleaning the main streets in Tearce, where five groups were leaded by students, educators and other NGO members. After the cleaning there was creative part, where approximately 60 children made posters with ecological meaning and were dancing and playing all together in the schools yard. During this activity 10 volunteers from the EU countries that were engaged in CBC “LOJA”-Tetovo were participating of this activity and contributed a lot that this activity should be more interesting and successful.
Afterward the CEDT members participated on the activity with same meaning in Tetovos square, where there was symbolic cleaning, playing music and making creative things.
During this activity around 12 members from CEDT were engaged, 5 from Hizmet, 15 from CBC “LOJA”-Tetovo.
We must also mention that the activity had influence on increasing the cooperation between ethnicities that live in Tearce and increasing the awareness about the ecology.
