CED starts with implementation of two projects
In September 2008 the Contemporary art center- Skopje in cooperation with Center for education and development- Tearce held a three daily training seminar for students, members of CED and other youth that live in the Municipality of Tearce with these topics: Identifying and developing projects, Project management, Monitoring and evaluations as part of the project cycle.
15 committed participants attended in these workshops who posses the necessary knowledge to work on exceeding the different social issues that the youth in this region is facing.
As result of this training CED stuff prepared two projects, this will start with implementation on October and will finish on February 2009.
Main issue of the first project is ecology, where through different activities will be worked on increasing the awareness of the youth on keeping their environment clean.
The second project it is about increasing the creativity of the youth by using the theater as technique on handling different social problems and seeking for them creative solutions.
Participants in these projects are children from the fifth and sixth grade from the Tearce School, but with hope in future to spread also in other villages in this region.
Responsible for the project activities as Coordinators are: Ilira Idrizi, Suada Fazli, Xhenan Idrizi, Astrit Rexhepi, Gentijan Xhemaili, Nedime Idrizi and Blerta Xhemaili.
In the framework of this project different activities will be implemented such as: discussion for different social issues, meeting with different experts, actors and doctors, public people, movie presentation and finally presenting the project in front of the parents, teachers and peoples that live in this region.
