Promotion of the book “From Runishta and Atushishta to current Tearce” Zdravko Serafimovski-Zevs
That we are all equal and that we only differ in the values we gain through the years, proves this book titled as “From Runishta and Atushishta to current Tearce” written by Zdravko Serafimovski-Zevs, a book which after almost 10 years research work saw the light of the day.
This is the first monograph about this big Polog settlement and its purpose is affirmation of the history and geography of this village but also to serve as a research material and basis for the future generations to continue the research in the same direction.
During the work, the author faced himself with two major difficulties: the first one is that Tearce is formed out of two neighbour settlements (Tearce and Otushishte) that cannot be written about separately and the other one is the fact that Tearce as multiconffessional and multinational environment differs not only from the other environments in Dolni Polog but also wider in the Republic.
Zdravko Serafimovski-Zevs was born in Tearce in 1951. He finished an economical high school and he studied Sociology at “Cyryl and Methody’s” University in Skopje. He has done different community functions on a local level, and for a longer period of time he worked as a journalist during which he was a reporter for the daily newspaper “Vecer”. Lately he is doing some research work as a member of the working group of the project WSP-ПЕВ Macedonia (Project for unique vision). He is employed in the community of Tearce as an independent chief of division in the Department of finances and budget.
We are convinced that the book will provoke positive reactions among the local population and wider which will result with further research of the roots, settling, genealogy, demographic movements and national characteristics of the nationalities who live in this village.
The author faced with difficulties because of the small amount of information from the Albanian and Turkish population and he asks for consideration of his fellow-citizens with faith that somebody will continue where he stopped and for these reasons he offers help and concrete cooperation.
At the end we will say that life goes on, we all share the same destiny with all the nationalities and that only with respecting the other cultures and not forgetting your own the society can be successful. Only in that way we can be closer to the family called Europian Union
